Choose foods that are lower in calories to help reach or maintain a healthy weight. Limit saturated fat, trans fat, and salt for a healthy heart and good blood pressure. Talk to your health care providers about eating, diet, and good nutrition for diabetics. Look up diabetic-friendly recipes and eating plans online, or buy a diabetic cookbook for inspiration and motivation.
